A guide for achieving meaningful participation in co-design processes

This study was initially led by Tom Greenall, Lydia Toohey and Jane Wong, with contributions from over 20 collaborators based across the globe. Julita Skodra and Yip Siu joined the research team at the second stage, who provided critical bridges to public commissioners and authorities, including Greater London Authority and the Bremen Senate. Neal Shasore has kindly provided support in the capacity as supervisor at the early stages of this work. The platform is now maintained by Jane Wong as principal researcher.

The study has received funding from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Bartlett Faculty and Bartlett School of Architecture of University College of London, and in-kind support from the London-based design and research practice DSDHA.

The website was designed by Studio Hyte, with a typeface strategy reflecting the multiplicity and plurality of voices that co-design seeks to reveal, enable and amplify. Yanping He has supported the production of the website.
